Who Taught Us To Lead

Angie Winn

Angie is a leadership and organizational development practitioner who has worked with individuals, teams, and communities across the corporate and non-profit realms. After working with a non-profit in the inner-city, Angie found herself close to burnout. She began to integrate practices that helped her body, mind, heart, and spirit restore and thrive. She learned that pausing could actually make a huge impact, not only in her life but the lives around her. Friends and colleagues started requesting that Angie share these tools, and so she started a weekly Virtual Pause podcast, wrote a book called Pausing in Motion, led retreats, and coached leaders on how to experience stability in the midst of chaos. One day while taking her own pause in the mountains, Angie felt convicted that the next generation of leaders desperately needed tools to help them thrive. She drafted a model and program, met with her buddy Brandon, and the Lofting Leaders Journey was launched! Angie lives in Windermere, FL, loves to hike in the mountains of Colorado as much as she can. She lives with four males (2 teen/young adult sons, a dog, and a husband!), teaches yoga weekly and is actively involved in St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and various non-profits around the world.
